Description
- The Gear and Sprocket Assembly is the preferred way to “refurbish” your garage door opener as it quickly replaces all of the common wear parts in the opener drive system. This kit includes all of the Drive / Worm Gear kit, and is easier to install because you do not have to disassemble the output shaft assembly – the spur gear is already mounted on the new output shaft. The assembly also includes the worm gear, and a new bushing under the sprocket which is another common wear item. Fits most chain drive openers manufactured since 1984 by: Liftmaster, Chamberlain, Sears Craftsman, Master Mechanic, and some units from Wayne Dalton. Replaces part.
- Gears are not available for openers manufactured prior to 1984. Instructions are included in the package.
