You may return most new, unopened, unused items sold by Garage Door Parts Mart within 30 days of delivery.
We’ll also credit the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
Products that are Not Returnable:
Garage Door Parts Mart does not accept returns of the following items:
- All torsion, extension, roll-up door springs
- Circuit Boards
- Special Ordered Parts
- Any item not returned in original packaging
- Any Batteries
- Items that have been installed or damaged by buyer
Purchases may be returned for any reason within 30 days. We do not accept returns after 30 days from delivery. Item(s) MUST be returned in their original shipped condition and include all related parts, factory packaging and instructions. All returned orders are assessed a 10% restocking fee. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Items returned incomplete are subject to additional fees to replace or repack components (IE: batteries, visor clips, instructions, etc.). Items returned damaged, used, or non-re-sell-able are not refunded. A copy of your sale receipt & RMA number should be included with your return. All returns will be credited within 24 hours of us receiving the product back. Garage Door Springs are not returnable. All of our springs are made to order and cannot be resold or returned to our vendor therefore we cannot accept them back. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Actual spring sizes may vary from the order. Garage Door Parts Mart reserves the right to recalculate any spring order. In the event that torsion springs are ordered and the exact specified spring is out of stock at the time of the order, it is common practice to upgrade you to a higher end product compatible with the original specifications. Garage Door Parts Mart will not accept refunds for upgraded springs. Unless, specified during checkout to NOT recalculate. You can specify this in the order comments during the checkout process.
All items on our website are brand new and are sold with the full manufacturer’s warranty unless otherwise stipulated. The product warranty may vary for some items but are typically one-year from date of purchase. We will repair or replace any product sold by us, which proves to be defective according to the stated manufacturer’s warranty within 30 days upon your receiving of the item. After the 30 day period it must be returned to the manufacturer for warranty repair or replacement. The consumer is responsible for any shipping costs involved in returning the product for repair or replacement. The manufacturer’s warranty does not cover any product or part which has been subjected to misuse, abuse, modification, negligence or accident, nor does it cover any product, which is used for any purposes other than for which it is intended as stated in the specific manufacturer’s product information literature.
Return Material Authorization
No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Return Material Authorization (RMA).
Please complete our online return form to obtain an RMA number. Use this number on all returns and emails. Any item returned to Garage Door Parts Mart for any reason other than product defect or incorrect order fulfillment by the seller will be subject to a 10% restocking fee. All returned merchandise is subject to inspection and must be return in unused condition with original packaging within 30 days of delivery.

Replacements & Exchanges
If you received a defective item and need to exchange it for the same item please complete our online return form to request a replacement. If you would like to exchange an item for a different one, complete our online return form to return the original item and place a new order for the item you’d like to purchase. All exchanged items must be returned within 30 days.
If you receive an item that was damaged complete our online return form. At that time, you can tell us if you want a refund or replacement. If you feel your item was damaged due to poor packaging, please let us know by submitting feedback about the packaging. All damaged product must be returned within 30 days.
If your product isn’t working properly; please check the product manual (which arrived with the item). You can usually find troubleshooting and “getting started” information there. If you need additional assistance, you need to request missing pieces or replacement parts, or you need warranty information, please contact the product’s manufacturer directly. If you’re unable to resolve the problem after contacting the manufacturer, complete our online return form to see about receiving a replacement or returning your item for a refund. All defective items must be returned within 30 days.
